DRIVE ON: ACOLYTE TRAINING, Saturday September 26th from 10-11:30am.
This acolyte training class will focus on one of the most important and mysterious aspects of our beloved mode of transportation; the drive train. In this short class we will introduce you to the integral relationship between shifters, derailleurs, cassettes, and the chain. We will start at 10:00am sharp and people are welcome to stay after to work on their drive train related projects during shop open hours. Hope to see ya there, ~Matthew Sattva

Bike Forth Benefit! Sat Sept 26th 7-10:55 p.m. at Bike 4th
Check out the fall benefit party at Bike Forth! There might be dragons. There will be magic.  Sweet tunes provided by: CJ and the Canyons, Boxes, DJs Em and the Lees, and Calamity Janie  $5 suggested donation.  For those of you of age, Sierra Nevada will be on tap for your enjoyment (price tbd).  Come help us get some groovin' karma in our space of bike fixery! 

Volunteers are needed for set up and clean up.  If you can help out, come by at 6 when we close up for open hours or stay after we are done to get the place back in working order b/c on Sunday we have...  And if anyone wants to make t-shirts this week for sale at the event, let me know!

Bike-to-School Fixit Day for Kids!  Sun Sept 27th 12-5 p.m. at Bike 4th
Help elementary, middle and high school kids get their bikes safe and ready to ride.  We will need volunteers to greet people, do safety checks, and help kids fix bikes.  This means whether you have lots of bike knowledge or not much, you are needed!  Come by for a little bit or all day!  If you have kids whose bikes need work, bring them and come on by!

WTF?  What's up with gender and bikes? Planning Meeting Tues Sept 29th 5-6 p.m. at Bike 4th
We will be starting up WTF (Women-Trans-Femme) time at Bike Forth soon.  If you want to be in on the action and planning, come meet some groovilicious folks for planning for the rest of the year's WTF events.  Regular WTF events will be Tues 5-7 p.m., details coming...
